YouTube starts crackdown on ad blockers

YouTube wants users to allow ads on the platform and opt for a premium tier subscription for an ad-free experience. Users around the world are seeing an error which says "Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service". It further says, “Video playback is blocked unless YouTube is allowlisted or the ad blocker is disabled.”
